The kids program consists of:
Warm Up Exercises- To improve flexibility and begin proper cardiovascular and muscular conditioning.
Dento (traditions & etiquette) - This ensures your child is exposed to a highly respectful and fun learning environment. It will lay the foundation for courteous, respectful behavior from your child, both inside and outside the dojo.

Kihon Waza (basic techniques) - This includes various techniques from the Okinawan Goju-Ryu system, including punching, kicking and blocking techniques. The Goju-Ryu system also places a high emphasis on correct breathing, so if your child suffers from asthma our Kids Karate program may teach your child how to better regulate their breathing during physical activity

Our program is focused on providing our younger students with a solid foundation of good etiquette, physical fitness and respect for those around them.

A Note from Sensei
It is my hope that all of our students will enjoy their training, and develop a strong sense of character, physical fitness and inner strength that will transfer into their daily lives. As such, they will become stronger people and be able to contribute to society in a positive manner.
Karate is beneficial for people from all walks of life, regardless of their present level of physical fitness. In order to excel at Karate, all one needs is a strong mind, and a the desire to learn.
