Muay thai is really fun and it is an AMAZING work out. I really like the experience I am having so far. I like the way I feel after every workout, I feel ENERGETIC and FEEL HEALTHY. Sensei is a really good teacher and Coach. I've learned alot from him. I've only been in muay thai for 2 weeks but I can see myself doing it for much longer.

My children have been going to Ishi Gogyou Martial Arts for over a year.
First it was my son, I wanted him to be more focused and I have watched him getting better. my daughters soon joined and shortly after I joined as well. We go to the dojo daily and it is very addictive. My kids are on the Jiu Jitsu and Karate team and so far winning in all tournaments.I attribute a lot to the teaching skills of Sensei and the hard work which the dojo puts out to keep all their karate ka in tune with tradition.

My son and daughter attend Ishi Gogyou Martial Arts and they "luv" going to classes. My son is enthralled with learning and my daughter yet younger loves going to class. They learn to count in Japanese and learn to remember their manners and respect for each other. the family atmosphere at the dojo is sincere and there is never a dull moment. The kids are encouraged to take part in different learning activities and are encouraged to Kiai with energy and zest for the Martial Arts. There is an open concept and we are privy to watching our kids in class. Sensei makes the classes fun and energetic for the kids fromlearning Basics techniques to Kata. I am glad that my kids are happy here.

Josh likes the fact that he can now count in three languages - English, French & Japanese.
It has helped him to become focused and stronger physically. He's also made some new friends. The grading method has helped to reinforce the fact that he needs to "study" to move to the next level.

Our son Mikial has been attending Ishi Gogyou Martial Arts since September 2009 and we could not have been more pleased as to how Sensei Tirrell and Sensei Tyrone have been able to train and develop his skills so that he has the knowledge to succeed. They have made the classes fun and enjoyable thus creating an environment where the kids want to learn. 

Sensei Tyrone’s playful demeanor and enthusiasm makes each child feel comfortable while Sensei Tirrell ensures that respect and discipline are instilled, both Sensei’s have demonstrated a great ability to get the most out of the their students regardless of their abilities or backgrounds.

Our son is extremely eager to learn karate and a big part of that is how much he enjoys learning at Ishi Gogyou Martial Arts.

Kiana enjoys coming to classes. She likes the running, various excercises, and kicking that's involved in karate. She especially likes answering questions about the dojo and the history of karate and is trying to learn as much Japanese as possible, especially her numbers.

I wanted you to know my son Roman has so much enjoyed his first few sessions at the Dojo. He is always excited to go and I've never seen him so happy. I really like the style and family atmosphere of the Dojo and really appreciate the time you spend making each child feel special and still they learn how to behave themselves.

I feel very lucky to have found such a inspirational, educating, place for my children to learn, grow and be strong mind and body. The staff here are so committed to the teaching of these children. They go above and beyond, they treat the children like family they are patient, dedicated, strict, confident and smart they make sacrifices in order to make a difference in these young lives.

I also have to say Hats off To You. I think its wonderful how positive and encouraging you are with the children. It also shows in your emails how committed and how doting you are to your students - you really show pride in their progress. I am yet not certain if my children will develop the love of this sport to reach a competitive level, but whatever niche they find for themselves, I hope they have a coach, teacher, sensei or mentor that shows as much care as you do.

Our son has been training under the direction of Sensei Hill since the fall of 2005. 

Under Sensei’s guidance we have watched him change from a shy, self conscious little boy into a strong, happy, self confident young man. Sensei is a skilled martial arts teacher and often knows exactly what to do to keep his students motivated and working hard. Our son looks forward to his training and learning the disciplines that come learning a “traditional” karate style. 
Since he began training the dojo has provided our son the opportunity to meet, train and compete with karate students 
from all Canada and in some cases the world. Overall, our son’s time with IGMA has been positive and we thank Sensei Hill 

for his time, dedication and patience.
